In a massive change to its live video policy, Facebook will now only keep live videos for a maximum of 30 days. Starting from like now (19th Feb on the email I received on the 26th!) Facebook will start deleting videos older than 30 days – so says you should download them! Memorial pages/accounts are exempt from this though. Whilst I thought this day would come (in line with most other platforms except youtube) the fact that I received the email AFTER deletion was scheduled to begin shows how Facebook has turned into even more of a disorganised mess recently.
